Pro-Life Feminist

Thursday, May 3, 2018 @ 7:00PM

Join the stars and director of a film about the controversial pro-life feminism movement. Screening of the film will be followed by a live discussion and Q&A from the audience with three of the young leaders of the movement, Aimee MurphyDestiny Herndon-De La Rosa, and Christina Bennett, and director Jim Hanon(End of the Spear). This event is sponsored by the Review’s young professionals initiative, EXPECT.

In this half-hour documentary, Christina Marie Bennett, Aimee Christine Murphy, and Destiny Herndon-De La Rosa bridge feminist and pro-life perspectives with candor, humor, and respect, finding more common ground than either side typically realizes. Told without a narrator, these three women share their individual journeys with vulnerability and honesty, making the film a perfect catalyst for the discussion and Q&A that will follow.
