Backstage Broadway is a new series hosted by actor, music director, and composer/lyricist Alexander Gemignani that provides an inside look into the collaborative process and sources of inspiration that make creative teams and casts tick, resulting in opening a show on the Great White Way.
This evening examines the revival of Cole Porter’s classic musical Kiss Me Kate, which is being presented in a new production by the Roundabout Theatre Company. Legendary musical director and TONY Award winner Paul Gemignani, dance arranger David Chase, and Tony Award-winning choreographer Warren Carlyle will give a behind-the-scenes look at the process of bringing this Broadway masterpiece to new life. Songs from the show will be sung by members of the cast — Preston Truman Boyd, Marissa McGowan, and Christine Cornish Smith — to give you a flavor of this acclaimed new revival.
Tickets: $20/$30 and $15 student tickets with valid ID
*Student rush tickets will be available an hour before the event for $15 with a valid current student ID
