For Love Alone

Presented by the Frassati Fellowship NYC, the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, & the Vocation Office of the Archdiocese of New York

Friday, October 19, 2018 @ 7:30PM

In conjunction with the Synod in Rome on Youth and Discernment, the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, Frassati Fellowship and the Vocation Office of the Archdiocese of New York are sponsoring a unique screening of the short film FOR LOVE ALONE. This 17-minute film uses the testimony of religious sisters, their family members, and even those they serve, as well as stunning images and music, to convey to the world the beauty of religious life.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with sisters featured in the film, plus Dr. Peter Hamm (the father in the film), Joe Campo (Executive Director of Grassroots Films), moderated by Fr. Chris Argano (Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of New York) and Sr. Clare Matthiass, CFR. This will be a premiere screening with the cast available for questions and discussion on the topic of building a Culture of Discernment for religious life and priesthood today.
