Scór on Broadway

Presente by the Origin Theatre Company as part of Origin’s 1st Irish Festival 2019

Friday, January 18, 2019 @ 7PM

Produced by Jane McCarter O’Dowd

Scór is the cultural wing of the Gaelic Athletic Association. During the winter months when the playing season ends, GAA Clubs continue to compete for an all-Ireland Champion’s Title, on stage, through 8 separate cultural competitions since 1969. In 2016 Origin invited the GAA Scór Nua Eabhrac Champions to perform on Broadway as part of the 1st Irish Theatre Festival. This unique crossover of Irish Culture and Sports made Broadway & GAA History. Since that first mesmerizing night on Broadway, Origin Theatre is thrilled to extend this unique invitation even further. For the first time ever Scór on Broadway will include performances from NY GAA Clubs, County Associations, and many talented groups from all corners of our community celebrating their hidden stage talents and making all performers All-Stars for one night on Broadway!
