About Stephen Auth

Stephen Auth is a member of the Regnum Christi movement, and sits on the National Board of the Lumen Institute which he helped found in New York.  He has participated in missions in Mexico, and with his wife, Evelyn, has run the on-going Regnum Christi street mission in NYC since 2009.  The couple also regularly gives spiritual art tours at the Metropolitan Museum which they  call, “Man’s Search for God, A History of Art Through the Prism of Faith.”

 

Professionally, Steve serves as Chief Investment Officer of Federated Global Equities, as well as Executive Vice President of Federated Hermes.  He leads a team of more than 100 portfolio managers, analysts, and traders who manage Federated’ s $60+ billion in domestic and international equity investment products.  Steve has over 35 years of investment experience with Federated Hermes and previously, Prudential Investments, and has invested in most corners of the world over his career.  

 

Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Princeton University.  He received his master’s degree in business administration, with High Distinction, from Harvard University, where he was a Baker Scholar and a Loeb Rhodes Fellow.  He is also a chartered financial analyst, and a member of The Economic Club of New York and The New York Society of Security Analysts.  Steve is a frequent guest and guest anchor on CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV.

 

In addition to Regnum Christi, Steve’s other philanthropic work includes “Immokalee Rebuilds”, a program he initiated in 2017 to build homes in an immigrant community in Florida; the American University of Bulgaria, whose endowment he guides; and the Pontifical Mission Society, where he is a board member. His recent books include “Pilgrimage to the Museum: Man’s Search for God Through Art and Time” and “The Missionary of Wall Street”, published by Sophia Institute Press in July, 2022 and April, 2019 respectively.   He speaks around the country about the New Evangelization and has appeared often on a variety of Catholic and faith-based television and radio programs.
