Event Details
Generations of Voices opens in New York with a joyful celebration of music, languages, and cultures, featuring the internationally beloved Italian children’s choir Il Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano, known around the world through the iconic Italian television program Zecchino d’Oro.
For the first time in America, the young voices of the Piccolo Coro will take the stage alongside special guests from New York, creating a unique musical encounter between Italy and the United States. Audiences of all generations are invited to experience an uplifting program featuring songs in Italian, English, and Spanish, celebrating the beauty of multilingualism and the universal language of music.
Hosting the event is award-winning actress, singer, and teaching artist Simona Rodano, known to thousands of children as The Italian Fairy, who brings the Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano to New York as part of her twenty-year commitment to connecting young people with Italian language and culture through music and the performing arts.
More than a concert, Generations of Voices is a celebration of children, cultural exchange, and the belief that music can bring generations and communities together, across languages, cultures, and borders.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Global EduLanguage Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the learning of languages, promoting appreciation for our multicultural world, and advancing peace through education, cultural exchange, and the performing arts.
About Simona Rodano
Simona Rodano is an award-winning Italian actress, singer, producer, and educator who has dedicated more than twenty years to connecting the performing arts with language and education.
With a professional career spanning television, theatre, music, and educational entertainment, Rodano has performed internationally and has been featured in major media including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. In 2006, she began bringing her innovative approach to language learning into American schools, using music, theatre, storytelling, and performance to inspire children to discover languages and cultures.
She founded Incanto Productions in 2008, developing multilingual theatrical productions and educational programs presented in schools and cultural institutions throughout the United States. Known to generations of students as “The Italian Fairy,” Rodano's work has reached more than 190.000 children since 2006.
Rodano holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Turin and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Theatre Pedagogy, combining her academic background with decades of professional experience on stage and in the classroom.
She is the creator and producer of “Generations of Voices”, bringing together young voices from Italy and the United States and, for the first time in America, the internationally celebrated Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano.
Her work is guided by a simple belief: the arts and languages can educate, connect cultures, and help new generations see the world through one another’s eyes.
About Global EduLanguage Foundation
Global EduLanguage Foundation
Founded by Simona Rodano in 2023, the Global EduLanguage Foundation was created from a vision developed through nearly two decades of working with children, educators, languages, and the performing arts.
The Foundation's mission is to foster language learning, encourage appreciation of our multicultural and multilingual world, and promote peace through education and cultural exchange.
Building upon Rodano's extensive experience bringing arts-integrated language programs to young people, Global EduLanguage creates opportunities for children and educators to experience languages not simply as academic subjects, but as bridges between people and cultures. Through educational programs, live performances, school initiatives, workshops, international collaborations, and professional development, the Foundation seeks to make language and cultural learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
