The Acting Company’s 75-minute adaptation of Hamlet, in a modern verse translation by Lisa Peterson, brings this foundational tragedy to New Yorkers across the City. Centering Hamlet’s struggle to decide how to respond to his father’s death and his mother’s remarriage, this production is the perfect entrance point to this powerful story of grief and vengeance. The phenomenal young ensemble brings this complex story to life with clear, bold language and high-energy performances that are sure to engage audiences.
HAMLET is produced with additional support from the Hitz Foundation and Play On Shakespeare.
